Dr. Yongxin Fan, LAc, MD (China)

With over 35 years of work experience, Dr. Yongxin Fan is known for an integrated approach — combining acupuncture and herbal medicine — to treat a wide range of pain and internal conditions. He has extensive experience treating musculoskeletal issues like neck and back pain, arthritis, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, knee and heel pain, sports injuries, and recovery from fractures and surgery, as well as headaches, migraines, and nerve pain.

Dr. Fan works closely with patients managing stress, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. He also has an extensive track record treating acid reflux, IBS, colitis, and weight concerns, along with common issues like allergies, insomnia, diabetes, shingles, skin conditions, and hormonal imbalances.

Having treated thousands of patients with chronic pain and complex conditions. Dr. Fan understands that every person's path to healing is unique. "I have confidence that I can help people with this ancient but forever young medicine," says Fan, a conviction that has carried him through decades of practice

Dr. Yongxin brings specialized training and experience from institutions across four continents. He spent ten years as an attending doctor and instructor at the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and the Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center before lecturing as a visiting professor in Holland (1996), Germany (1998), and Japan (1999, 2000).

In 2024, he founded Dr. Fan Acupuncture Clinic, which has become Austin’s premier location for holistic Traditional Chinese medicine. He lives in Round Rock with his wife and twin sons.
